Why train Self-Compassion with me?
Hi I am Helle Laursen. I am a senior teacher, Teacher Trainer and Supervisor in the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program. I have had more than 2000 participants through the program over the last 10 years. I teach internationaly for Center for MSC i USA, I teach in China and I teach for The Self Compassion Academy in Holland.
My focus is on making Self-Compassion useful for you in your life circumstanse. Self-Compassion is much more than a technique, it is warming up the quality of relationship you have with yourself and everyone around you.
How does one learn self-compassion?
The training is hand-on and gives you concrete and useful applications of Self-Compassion from day one. The program consits of brief teaching from my and the excercises, refelctions, meditations and discussions to ensure you can use and adjust all we do to your life circumstance.
Who is this for?
The full Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program is for those who are adults and in a fairly stable period of life. As the training may be emotionally activating, it is not suggested htat you do this program if you are in or recently have been in a crisis. It does require some ressources to use the program. It is not hterapy and not a substitution of therapy. If you are uncertain of this is for you, feel free to email me here.
Online or in-person?
I offer the MSC program live online over 9 or 10 weeks, and as in -person training.
You'll get the full experience no matter what format you choose. My suggestion is for you to choose the format that makes you able to attend most of the course. It is through dialoque and discussion that you'll get the full understanding and benefit of Self-Compassion.
